Syringe Filter, GD/XP, 0.45 µm Pore Size, 20.8 x 30 mm, 25 mm dia Membrane, PVDF Membrane, Non-sterile, Polypropylene Housing Material, Autoclavable, High Loading Volume for Filtration of Challenging Samples
Cytiva's Whatmanâ„¢ GD/XP disposable syringe filter, a modification of the GD/X line, uses a polypropylene prefilter stack, making GD/XP suitable for samples that require inorganic ion analysis. Because of their high purity and minimal ion extractable, GD/XP syringe filters are recommended for analyzing ion content that would otherwise experience interference from glass-based extractable. For example, GD/XP is used for trace metal analysis, particularly ion analysis using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
